Step by step
- Note the dates and the route. The Programme shows each day; Destination shows the ports of call, airports and ferries.
- Read the Notice of Race. It sets the classes, eligibility, entry fees and the bank account for payment. It is published under Race Documents.
- Enter online. The form opens on the entry page on the day entries open. You will need: yacht name and sail number, class, club, length (LOA), ORC/IRC certificate number, the skipper’s contact details and the number of crew.
- Pay the entry fee by bank transfer to the account given in the Notice of Race. The amount depends on the date of your entry: the earlier, the lower.

The fee is set by the date of your entry. The Notice of Race prevails.
- Check the Entry List. Once the organisers accept your entry, your yacht appears on the Entry List.
- Before the start read the Sailing Instructions and follow the Official Notice Board: every notice from the Race Committee is published there, numbered and time-stamped.
- During the regatta Results are published after each race.
Frequently asked questions
Which yachts can enter?
The Notice of Race sets the classes and eligibility. The entry form provides for ORC International, ORC Club and IRC.
Do I need a rating certificate?
For the ORC and IRC classes, yes: you give the number of your valid certificate on the entry form. If your yacht has no certificate, ask us before entering.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
See the fee table above. Payment is by bank transfer to the account in the Notice of Race; there is no card payment on the site.
Where do yachts berth at each stop?
In each port of call, at the berths set out in the Sailing Instructions. The ports on the route are on the Destination page.
How do I get to the start?
The nearest airports are Corfu (CFU), Preveza–Aktion (PVK) and Araxos (GPA), and ferries run from Italy to Corfu and Patras. Destination shows each year’s start port.
I need crew — or I am looking for a yacht to race on.
